Residential Remote Support Rate Plans
Due to the variety of issues and configurations that present themselves when troubleshooting computer problems, we offer general hourly service rates (billed in half hour increments) for home computing support as well as rate packages with a fixed amount of time, in which any unused time can be banked for future use, up to a year later. If you choose a rate plan that we feel is not applicable to your issue, we will happily refund that plan in substitution for one that better suits your needs.

In addition, we offer special packages, where we know exactly how long certain tasks will take us to complete and can offer these maintenance, install, setup and configuration bundles to you at a fixed special rate. You can choose any of these packages from our online store (coming soon).

Commercial / Business Remote Support Rate Plans
Desktop support in a business environment can often be billed as residential, however, servers, business networks, firewalls, routers, enterprise hardware and software applications not only require more education to support but require more time to troubleshoot without having our fix cause another issue somewhere else in your network. For these reasons, business technical support is booked at an hourly rate and billed in half hour increments after the first hour. We don't offer any promotional "this price to get that fixed" deals. There are simply too many variables in business computing and we take your continued uptime very seriously.
After reviewing your support request (and possibly contacting you for more information about your network infrastructure and architecture), we will determine which rate plan applies and get your authorization to proceed with the service call. Naturally, we often need to work on several components and the highest rate applies to the whole service call...
eg: An initial desktop computer issue that points back to a server may start at $59/hr but at some point will elevate to $99/hr. The end bill would be the total time spent at $99/hr.
24/7 After Hours Technical Service - $100/hr
We will make our technicians available to you on a 24/7 basis for this extra fee. If you need to activate our after-hours support, you can rest assured that our on-call tech will be online within 30 minutes of notification. This fee is over and above regular technical fees and is applied daily from 11:00 pm EST to 6:00 am EST. We will be there when you need us.
Commercial Desktops - $59/hr
Workstations and any software on those workstations (regardless of whether they talk back to a server
Retail Point Of Sale - $99/hr
Workstations and any point of sales software on those workstations, including POS hardware
Servers - $99/hr
Any instance of a Windows or Mac OS X server either physical or in a VMware state.
Firewalls - $149/hr
Cisco PIX / ASA, Sonicwall, Checkpoint, Nokia NetScreen etc security appliances
Network Appliances (Switches, Routers etc) - $149/hr
Includes bridges, VLAN devices and VPN endpoints or concentrators
Network Attached Storage - $90/hr
Enterprise Software - $99/hr
Exchange, IIS, Backup, collaborative, groupware or server-hosted databases or applications
Digital Video Recorders - $59/hr
Workstations and any video surveillance and recording software on those workstations
